Campus Movie Fest

I have been trying to make a decent movie for Campus Movie Fest since I started at this school 3 years ago. After 2 failed attempts I believe this year I will successfully make a movie because the team I am working with is motivated and determined.
I find it is very hard to get everything done in a week, and people like me who are just out to have fun and make a movie are at a serious disadvantage. Did the winners from last year film and edit everything that they shot in a single week? I know the answer to this question, and if you watch the movie, I think you will too.
I think the guidelines should be stricter and people who have more money and more time on their hands should not be rewarded for starting the project early and not adhering to the guidelines. This is just my opinion, but I think people who play by the rules and film everything in a week should have just as good a shot at winning then people who start filming and editing months beforehand.
